Then, step into serenity at the Dambulla Cave Temple, where centuries-old Buddha statues and colorful murals sit peacefully in five sacred caves.

The spiritual highlight here is the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Buddhism’s most sacred sites, where a tooth relic of Lord Buddha is enshrined. Admire the temple’s golden roof, intricate woodwork, and rich history as you join locals during the daily rituals, accompanied by traditional drumming and chants.
