DAY 1
Your spiritual journey begins with a warm welcome at Bandaranaike International Airport. From there, you will travel north to Chilaw, an important destination for Ramayana pilgrims visiting Sri Lanka. This first day is peaceful and meaningful, with temple visits that connect directly to the story of Lord Rama.
In Chilaw, visit Munneswaram Temple, one of the island’s most sacred Shiva temples, believed to be a place where Lord Rama prayed after the war. You may also visit Manavari Temple, known for the first Shiva Lingam installed by Lord Rama in Sri Lanka. This gives your tour a strong spiritual beginning.
